This is your familiar "store bought" quick growth chicken (6-8 weeks from hatch to table) just raised on pasture with Aloha instead of a warehouse floor and fed a diet of healthy grains
We raise the Red Ranger chicken for our colder weather chicken. Since they are closer to heritage they put on feathers before they start to grow meat, this makes them more cold hardy then the cornish cross but just as tender.
In an effort to help sustain this breed and because of its superior tasting meat flavor we raise Heritage turkeys as our main holiday offered turkey.
Toted as the King of healthy meat cuts, these superbly formed and cut breasts come 2 in a pack and are processed and cut on farm by our ohana.
Tenders are to chicken what filet mignon is to beef. As the name would imply this chicken part is gloriously tender and a must have. Processed and cut on farm by our ohana, they come in packages of 6.
Ah the leg quarter. Given a bad rap by the PR of the King (see 2 up for the King). This so oftenly over looked chicken part has been regulated to kids meals and back yard bbq´s when hot dogs just aren´t enough. But that all ends today!! Our big boy quarters will bring you back into the fold. Because those of us who know, know there is nothing juicier than dark meat. Packaged in 2's, processed and cut on farm by our ohana.
If quarters have had a hard time earning their place on the plate wings have had it worse. But thanks to the restaurant with the big.....owl mascot (hehehe) wings now hold a place at the table. Our cornish wings are packaged in 6, pasture raised, farm processed and cut all by our ohana.
We all know chicken soup sooths the soul. Now you can make it with humainly raised pastured Cornish chicken backs. So as nothing is wasted we package 3 ¨carcasses¨ to a bag for you to get the most out of this awesome animal we call chicken. How much more soothed will your soul be sipping on soup made from the backs of chicken raised, processed, cut, and bagged by the Kinohi ohana with aloha.
Highly nutritious, protein rich, low fat, and nutrient dense. Our organ meat comes from the same pasture raised chickens that we cut up for individual parts. So that means organs get the Kinohi Aloha treatment as well.
All the goodness of Thanksgiving ground up. Our Pasture Raised ground turkey uses breast & thigh meat for that Ono taste. Comes in 1lb packages (weight may vary) Use anywhere you'd use ground beef, (can you say loco moco, um yes please).
Who needs the Renaissance Festival when you can make your own turkey legs! Each package is one drumstick, Huzzah!
Just like chicken wings only,,, huge! 2 whole wings per package is about the same as 4 chicken wings.
Individually packaged as livers, hearts & gizzards for the connoisseur. Each package sold by the pound.
Pasture raised turkey neck packs for making stock, or if your like me, nibbling. 2-3 necks per package
This is a delicate tasting offering for those special days, like a Tuesday. Don't let all the fancy french recipes out there scare you away for this amazing tasting bird, just check our our recipe page for some easy ones. You won't be disappointed.
The king of the duck (its in it's name after all) has a lot going for it,,,a lot of tasty meat. Whether its for a holiday or just a Wednesday crispy duck is awesome. Check out our recipe page for our favorite way to cook it.
Eh......What's up doc? The popularity of rabbit meat is what's up. In America rabbit has moved from a sustainable meat source to a home pet (I blame WB and easter). But beef isn't the only meat that tastes better grass fed and our rabbit are raised on pasture from birth. Not sure how to cook it? Check out our recipe page. Here is a link for more information on rabbit meat https://rabbitmeat.webs.com/
For our BMC we raise the Hmong Chicken from Southern Asia. They thrive in a tropical climate (so MD summers are no problem), but will do fine in the cold winter months with shelter. For the health benefits click here https://drhealthbenefits.com/food-bevarages/meats/benefits-of-black-chicken . For how they taste there's no better way than to try one. Want a recipe?
